Dubai Hosts Draw for Inaugural Arab Padel Championship

On Friday, in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the draw for the first edition of the Arab Padel Championship took place. The championship is set to kick off on the 27th of September and will conclude on the 1st of October at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai.
The honorary president of the Arab Padel Federation, His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, along with the president of the Arab Padel Federation, Ahmed Ghatwary, and Saeed Al Marri, the Secretary-General of the UAE Padel Federation, attended the draw ceremony.
The draw results placed the host team, the UAE, in Group A, alongside Iraq, Morocco, Qatar, and the Omani national team. Meanwhile, Group B consists of teams from Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Syria, and Sudan.
In a related context, Ahmed Ghatwary, the president of the Arab Padel Federation, expressed, "We expect strong competition among the Arab national teams participating in the championship."
Ghatwary also extended his gratitude to the UAE Padel Federation and His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum for their contributions to the development of padel sports.
