The Formation of the Arab Padel Federation – Uniting Arab Nations through Padel

The Arab Padel Federation (APF) came into existence as a pivotal moment in the world of padel sports in the Arab region. During its inaugural General Assembly held in Cairo, Egypt, key decisions were made to establish the APF, with a primary goal of promoting and nurturing the sport of padel across Arab nations.
Ahmed Ghaturi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Padel Federation, was elected as the APF's first President, signifying Egypt's active role in shaping the federation. Additionally, Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Padel
Federation (UAEPA), was named the honorary president in recognition of the UAE's status as the first Arab country to embrace padel, and his personal efforts to spread the sport across the Arab world.
With this formation, the APF is poised to drive the growth of padel in the Arab region, fostering unity and collaboration among its member countries, which include Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Qatar and the UAE. Egypt was chosen as the APF's headquarters until the next General Assembly, highlighting the commitment to inclusivity and cooperation among Arab nations.
The APF's establishment marks a new chapter in the world of padel sports, with the shared vision of expanding the sport's reach and setting new standards of excellence across the Arab world.
